Of the barrel aged Founders brews this one is now my favorite. Smooth, tasty, well-balanced and smells nice. For an 11% it’s not boozy.

Stunning aroma of maple, vanilla, and oak. Taste features cinnamon, maple syrup, damp oak, and bourbon. Finish is rather warm and the illusion of maple syrup lingers. Great as it is now but I anticipate this will improve after laying down in the cellar.

BOOM! This guys is flavor packed! Fantastic beer. Sweet vanilla is right on top followed by a nice hint of maple. Aftertaste lingers wonderfully.
