Enjoy the backwoods regular variant better. Sweet maple and totally French toast.

Backwoods bastard is great, this is not as good, with very sweet start all maple syrup smell and some toasted flavors the original dirty/angry bastard is lost. Haying said that, the flavor is still good just should have named it something different imho.

#sundaymorningstout It’s been forever since I had a Founders, the Bastard series was the good ole days. This one has a pretty thin mouthfeel but hits the French Toast profile well and pairs great with bacon for bkfst. Cheers to a great holiday week!🍻

A little overly sweet. Should be a little thicker. Candied barleywine-like. Aroma of a caramel cinnamon candy. Cheers to 255 lbs on the chesties

Smells like a yankee candle, in a good way. Maple, cinnamon, and vanilla all present. 1st 6 ounces is tasty but the last 6 ounces is a bit taxing.
