Keeping with the French Toast theme, this barrel aged Scotch Ale has even more flavor than the last beer, with maple, cinnamon & vanilla flavors, maple is dominant. Great 11.1% ABV.

They certainly nailed French Toast. Didn't they? Buttered up, maple covered, egg washed French toast. Certainly sweet, but so is the source material. Good for a sample of one and glad I was able to acquire as a single.

Smells absolutely AMAZNG! Very sweet and mapley with a kick of booziness. Not sure about the aftertaste.

Smells amazing. Sweet maple and almost buttery. Butter yellow head. Mild barrel. Too much cinnamon,leaves an aftertaste.

Oh man this smells good. (Sip) Holy booze Batman. Needs to be warmed up. It is not a dessert beer, but it is delicious and has fantastic flavors once fully warmed up to room temperature.

One of my favorite beers, a scotch ale aged on Bourbon barrels with vanilla, cinnamon and maple. Truly delicious!

Very reminiscent of a barleywine in flavor balance. The alcohol is very noticeable, doesn't burn, but it is clearly there. The maple is stron on the nose and front end but quickly fades away.

Nice dessert beer. Strong maple syrup flavor mixes well with the bourbon and slight vanilla flavor. Thanks Joe.

Strong maple on the nose. Like fresh 100% maple syrup, not fake table syrup. Flavor starts with almost as much maple syrup but fades quickly to allow the bourbon oak notes to take over keeping it from being too sweet.

Best of the series! Rich, sweet with maple and that touch of bourbon from the barrels. So good!
