Subtiele en zachte koffie, chocolade, maple en bourbon smaken. Ontzettend mooi in balans en een enorm zachte smaakbeleving. De afdronk is lang en gebalanceerd. Oprecht een hele mooie stout van het Amerikaanse Founders Brewing!

Two-plus years aged, mostly get bourbon enhancement. Maple, dark chocolate and subdued coffee joins in. Still awesome. (4.45/5)

Imho, this is so much better with a couple of years on the neck (as we say in Sweden). Aka not overly sweet.

Tan head quickly disappears. Great sipper. Flavor has probably mellowed after a couple years as it seems it is not quite as sweet as previously tasted. This is a great beer however. One of Founders’ best in my opinion.

Extremely smooth, coffee, toffee and roasty. I’m not into stout but this is good. Good stuff!
