Syrupy, smooth, a nice 2 year age really smoothed it out

Enjoying for the first time what any #AUburn alumni are experiencing a #1 ranked basketball team. Working at Duke 30 years I met Duke coaches and players, pulled for 4 National Titles, but as an AUburn alumni, our AUburn Bball guys take the cake #WarEagle

From last night. Even though the flavors have mellowed out over the the last two years it's still a solid stout.

Literally found on its side in my closet. Drinking at 51 degree ( I couldn't wait). Huge notes as expected.. lovely finish.

Been aging this for a couple years. Figured my 40th birthday was a good occasion to break it out.

Smaakvolle stout. Initieel zoet, maar daarna smaken van koffie, chocolade en een vleugje vanille die lang blijven nazinderen. Niet echt boozy

Cork, maple, earth, bitter chocolate, baked fig, licorice aromas, mbroad, oily body, heavier maple, earth, orange, licorice, leather, later chocolate, little alc embrace, fish sauce flavours. Still exactly where it should be

Aged 3 years: strong dark coffee flavor & maple right on the nose. Smooth with some nutty notes as well. Very good if you love dark roast coffee (which I most certainly do)

Sharing with Shelby. Thanks Don for drinking all beers on the face of the earth, reviewing and helping us make up our mind.
