Working into the back of the fridge. Gonna sip on this obsolete jewel tonight. Bottled Sept 2019. Time to open it up.

Coffee. Chocolate. Maple syrup. Sticky and sweet with just enough bitter. Nice body.

Last one from 2019. The barrel mellowed with age. Still sweet dark chocolate and a nice warmth

Coffee is faded some but still a good amount of maple. Really smooth now

Maple, fudge, molasses, espresso, vanilla, faint soy sauce. A bit boozy and the finish is harsh.

Drinking very well for 3 years old, holding the maple coffee chocolate notes. This is a sad day, last bottle of this discontinued beer! C’mon Founders, please bring CBS back!!!

Satisfying as I watch the opening ceremony. Not sure how this pre-pandemic version was sitting on a shelf.

Held up better than 2018 but bigger bottle. Maple fades after short time anyway.

Вообще нифига не понял... Уж точно чего-то особенного ожидаешь от самой дорогой бутылки от Фаундерса. По ощущениям как мягенький KBS, кленовый сироп или пропал со временем, или я его не различаю... На перетест в общем, не распробовал.
