Raided the back of the beer fridge for this to toast an opportunity, split it with the wife. It’s aged well over the last two years, not too thin and plenty of maple flavor left. I prefer this to the KBS, so I hope it comes back eventually.

The HEB near me must have found this in the back hidden bc it randomly appeared out of nowhere in the cooler. There were 2 four packs and I bought one. It’s from 2019 and delicious. I drank 2 and am saving 2.

This is a perfect beer tonight to accompany some maple syrup roasted vegetables and BBQ brisket sandwiches. I do love this beer, in large part because the chocolate and maple flavors are of such high quality, so perfect, and so well-balanced. Stellar.

I’m not sure how this is here but just in case anyone sees this, the Specs in north Austin off Hymeadow Dr currently has several 4 packs of this. All from 2019. Grab’em while you can!!

This has aged better than 2017 version. Smooth chocolate with subtle coffee

This the season for a Founders CBS...but the 2019 has lost its maple flavor. Very mellow

Rewarding myself after a 65 hour week: 2 year old KBS. Maybe preferred at brunch but it’s a damn good nightcap too.

Svart i färg, brunt skum. Doft av kaffe, vanilj, bourbon. Munkänslan är sammetslen, fyllig men smidig. Mörka smaker i söt balans; kaffe, mörk choklad, tobak, värmande bourbon-sting, viss beska/brända toner, avslutet har mycket vanilj, lönnsirap. Härligt!

As tasty as I recall 😋. Bold, rich, Bourbon, chocolate, maple and a hint of coffee. Definitely one to come back to 😋
