Some age has helped with the sweetness. Still synthetic. MD sets the bar for maple beer (even though it's not BA).

Inky black beer goodness. The maple, chocolate, and coffee flavors all come out very well. Balanced profile and goes down smooth. 11% is an added bonus

The last of my vintage CBSeses. Still tastes good. Now I need to find someone to cover these balls in chocolate.

Was holding a couple of these to age & also since they quit making it, but since they started it again this year I'm ready to drink the stash. Aging has done this well & created a balanced brew w/ more subtle chocolate & maple, finishing w/ bourbon burn.

Aged 4 years. Starting to lose the booziness and some of the complexity. Very smooth. A little more berry notes. I imagine this is the extent of aging for this one.
