Väldigt mycket mörk choklad, lite spritig och en lätt sötma. Kommer kaffe i eftersmaken med en liten beska.

Sweet. Smooth. Syrupy, yet thin. Very drinkable. One and done kinda beer.

The cellar is thinning of my pre-discontinuation stock. APPARENTLY they started remaking CBS this year?!?! Have yet to find it but you best believe I’m doing a side by side when I do!

Rehearsals for Farm Bureau finished early, so I got lunch here too. The sausage platter was a little underwhelming, but it was fine. The beer was fantastic.

A little boozy on the backend, but the maple and dark roasty Impy flavors are still there. Compared to other aged Impy-based Stouts, the Founders variants seem best if drunk within 2 years; no more... they begin to fall off after that!
