Smooth bourbon cask aromas. Pours a dark brown head, rich body of bourbon and maple flavors, coffee and chocolate, sticky and creamy. Aged for an additional 4 years, last one of the series. Not really a summer beer, great all year long. Boozy finish!

Closing in on 5 years old and holding strong. Had the 2023 version earlier this month and while all the flavors are still there they are all a little muted in comparison to the 2023 version, particularly the maple and barrel flavor. Still very good.

Ушла сладость, хотя её и так немного было, слат более мягкий, без острых углов. кофейные зёрна и горький шоколад, бочка на втором плане с ванилью, древесными тонами. После глотка горький шоколад сменяется мягкой и обволакивающей нугой.

Diep zwart bier, mokka kraagje. G: caramel, koffie en bourbon. S: zoet, diepe caramel tonen, alcoholisch, siroop. Licht plakkerig mondgevoel en alcohol warmend. Zoete bourbon caramel espresso. Ontzettend goed overeind voor de leeftijd. Bottled 10.08.2019

Found bottle in the basement. Fell off a shelf and on its side for maybe two years. Sat upright for the last two weeks. Bottled 9.25.19 and has aged superbly! I would give this a 6 if allowed!

Pulling out the big guns for a National Championship! A little boozier than any of the other aged variants I’ve had but still smooth. Has lost some of its syrup flavor which doesn’t hurt. Mild sweetness with hints of wood.
