Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) de Haan
Smooth bourbon cask aromas. Pours a dark brown head, rich body of bourbon and maple flavors, coffee and chocolate, sticky and creamy. Aged for an additional 4 years, last one of the series. Not really a summer beer, great all year long. Boozy finish!

Quite a distinct barleywine. Bittersweet hops, malty with hints of caramel. Bitter mouthfeel, but creamy. Pours a smooth head, sticky and boozy.

Delicious Mark B. geuze, let it age for a few years, no direct comparison but mellow fruity flavors, subtle sour aromas and smooth body of sweet and sour flavors. Served in my Hoegaarden glass which is at least 30 years old.
