Pulled something out of the back of the beer closet for today. Go Blue! I like it more now that the maple has faded considerably.

Aged 4 years in the bottle… big on syrup and cola notes… not much else. Decent but not better than it was in year 1.

Holding up well, lost most of it'd carbonation. Sweet barrel aging on the nose. Flavors of coffee, maple and chocolate. Barrel has fallen off.

Hmm this beer smells so fudging good! Nice roasty aromas of caramel and vanilla. It tastes like maple syrup pancakes and dark chocolate with devine notes of bourbon and vanilla in the finish. The aftertaste is very roasty too, like a good espresso.

I can't believe they aren't making it anymore. If you haven't had this before it's really good. Not my favorite but it's definitely delicious

Coffee mostly gone. Lots of dark fruit, black licorice. Sticky, creamy. Some barrel left. Think I'll put the rest in the fridge.
