So much maple smoothness. Molasses, maple, brown sugar, dried fruit, with a finish of cacao. So well rounded and balanced.

Zalige stout, ietsje minder dan de 2018 versie. Deze 2019 versie is blijkbaar ander alcohol %: 11,6 ipv 11,3.

Maple coming out more and the heat is pretty much gone. Roasted notes still there and aging well in general...heat turned up as it warmed

10-3-20 smell bourbon, coffee, chocolate in that order. Taste deep dark chocolate mocha coffee with a couple of shots of bourbon. 10 months has done well for this one.

Founders' CBS (Canadian Breakfast Stout) is currently ranked by Beer Advocate as the number 14 best beer in the world. According to a 2019 interview, it won't ever be produced again. So, if you see it, get it. It's one of my favorite stouts.

Waited with this one for a while, almost a year since bottling. Last year of CBS, and perhaps the one with least maple syrup? More of the bourbon barrels, but still keeping it balanced. Still smooth and rounded, and it sure is tasty!

A little aging has been kind to this release much of the over-sweetness is gone.

I was thinking this was going to be too sweet with the maple but that is not correct, this is great dense bourbon, chocolate,coffee. We are enjoying Founders this pandemic
