Más Agave Grapefruit

Sour - Fruited Gose

The cocktail inspiration lives on. Our imperial gose is brewed with agave and sea salt before being aged in tequila barrels. But it doesn’t end there. Once it’s pulled from the barrels, it gets a dose of fresh grapefruit juice to ramp up the tanginess and to pay homage to our other favorite tequila-based cocktail, the Paloma. Sweet, salty, and mouth-puckeringly delicious. ¡Más Agave... Grapefruit!

Imperial Gose, eh? No lasting head, color of orange candy, bit thicker. Aroma is sweet grapefruit with tequila, slightly unusual but nothing off the charts. Taste is... like the combination of all qualities above... Odd, lots of sweetness on top of agave.

A 9.7% gose?!? Ok. Pleasantly surprised to see a new American beer of interest at LCBO, so grabbed a couple. More sweet than salty, but a nice one to sip for Thirsty Thurs.

Faint vegetal agave cactus, light honeyed toasted, pale, wheat malt, subtle cooked rhubarb, candi sugar, subtle burnt tequila oak barrel nose with a subtle candied citrusy aroma and a smooth honeyed lemony, grapefruit juice, salty, acidic, tequila taste.

Good Gose. Expected it to be less limey(tart) and more grapefruity(dry) than the original mas agave. It was not. I think I prefer the original but either is a good choice.

This is a tart-ass beer. The tequila barrel aging is there, but not overbearing compared to all the sour.

Wow this is sour yet smooth/sweet finish. Hint of tequila and tanginess. Much better than expected. Thought the grapefruit would over power but it doesn’t. Get the front bit with the smooth finish.

Full-bodied Imperial Gose that pours a Dark Amber colour. Aromas & flavours of Agave, Sea Salt, Tequila & Grapefruit Juice. Sweet mouthfeel with a lightly Tart finish.

Way too thick. Tastes like a grapefruit simple syrup with a salted thickening agent. Leaves a film. Did not enjoy. Had to drink a Flemish sour ale just to cleanse my palate. Use as a mixer or if you desire what male grapefruits impregnate lady gf's with.

Mil veces mejor aqui o en las radler que en las grapefruit ipas q opacan todo el lúpulo. Se siente muy cremosa, con barrica, frutal, ácida y ligeramente mineral. Esta tremenda
