Marvelroast

Golden Ale

Take in the wonder that is the marvelous – ahem – “marvelroast” new addition to our coffee beer lineup. We started with an imperial golden ale and brewed it with coffee, vanilla and cocoa nibs. But it doesn’t end there, folks. Milk sugar added during the brewing process lends a smooth and sweet finish, making this a delicious treat reminiscent of your favorite iced coffee drink.

Sweeter then I expected, robust flavors of coffee, cocoa nibs, vanilla, caramel, and burnt grains.

Wow this is good. Bit stronger than beanflicker. When you need that bit extra, this is the one you go to.

This is a delicious blonde ale. I'd still prefer a Quaff One's Java the Red, however. Red coffee beers are so satisfying.

I really like this. What's not to dis? Just too sweet. For the July heat. A beer you should not miss. I think this review qualifies as a limerick...Dan?

Like a sweeter pale Joe. One knock is a very slight artificial taste on the backend

It's marvelous. Really enjoy the flavor. Can smell the vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. Same with the taste. I really like it.

Imperial golden ale with coffee, vanilla & cocoa nibs. Definitely a unique coffee beer. The milk sugar adds a little extra sweetness. Maybe too sweet for me. Still fun to try beers that stretch the imagination.

ORL MTL MLS is back. But I think that Thierry Henry is just about done. Not a bad vanilla coffee beer. This style is surprisingly good to me despite not drinking coffee.

If you didn’t think a golden ale could be an imperial, think again. 8% ABV in what has to be the sweetest coffee vanilla beer ever created. Almost sickening sweet, which is something I’ve never said before. Basically a super sweet vanilla torte.

Founders knocked it out of the park with this one. My type of ale. Coffee is subtle and the nibs and vanilla make some noise.
