Catching up on 2 weeks worth of beers. Wheat wine style ale aged in both regular bourbon barrels and maple syrup bourbon barrels. Sweet with bourbon, maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and oak. Yeah, this is fucking excellent!

Good and strong but with a smooth finish. It's sweet with a hint of maple. It's a little boozy but not to bad. Good beer, but couldn't do a lot do to the sweetness.

Really sweet. Never had a wheat wine, so nothing to compare to. Delicate, softer old ale flavor with a big maple hit and bourbon undertones. Definitely pleasant. Would buy again if available next year.

very sweet and malty. starts smooth with the wheat, then the malt and maple kick in. ends with a good bourbon and oak finish that is very boozy.

Zesty citrus bitterness up front followed by boozy vanilla figs raisins moderate bourbon rich maple syrup oak barrel flavors. Well crafted brew with a great balance of flavors. Unusual excellent brew A interesting combination of flavors well worth a try

Bourbon barrel-aged wheat wine with maple syrup. Very sweet, bordering on cloying, but tasty and nuanced, hides its 12.8% well.

I really enjoy wheat wines, would like to see more produced. Sweet caramel, maple, toffee, bourbon, and a decent ethanol bite.

Founders puts together some good brews. This one is quite interesting. @ 12.8% this is a good winter warmer.

Love Founders BA Series. Maple syrup, bourbon and oak. Potent wheat wine. Careful with this one at almost 13%.

Perfect level of sweetness. Good malt notes. The maple barrel comes through.

Great barleywine and very mellow for its percentage. Sweet and delicious. Founders always knocks it out of the park ✅

This is incredible. Malty, nice and sweet, but not too sweet. Dangerous because it goes down too smooth

Started off with a strong bourbon bite. The sweetness of the maple syrup came on slow but by the time I finished the bottle I was enjoying it very much. Would absolutely drink again.
