Late check-in from last night. Bottled on "11-2-22" and picked up a single to try last Saturday. Anyways, this 12.8% ABV brew has a lot going on in both the aroma and taste. Really enjoyed this overall. Cheers friends to Thirsty Thursday! 🍻

Tastes exactly like you would think a maple syrup burbon barrel wheat would taste. A very light and a little sweet, burbon.

At the risk of sounding stupid, it basically tastes like the Belgian Twisted mixed with cotton candy. Really weird on my palate.

12.8%’er that pleasingly surprised me. Reading Founders description of this sold me on trying it and I’ll be a repeat customer of it.

Generally sweet, I guess I get maple syrup from it. The bourbon and wheatwine combo is coming across more as an apple brandy. Super boozy

Maple sweetness with a lot of booze taste. There is a delightfully bold hop flavor on the back end that adds some bitterness that is necessary

Surprisingly light and not as sweet as expected. Definitely doesn’t drink like 12.8%

Delicately sweet with a faintly bitter blend of malt and barley. The barrel aging helps tie together what could otherwise be a discordant beer. Well executed.
