A bit too sweet but nice maple notes, overall not the biggest fan of this one

Not a fan. Maybe better when warmer but cold out of bottle isn't great style for me. Hits my tastes super bitter then finishes overly sweet. I get the contrast, just not my Thang.

The way it hits is almost like a mead. This is 11-22 batch so only aged 6 months. I think time will improve it. It’s all sweetness and heft now. Even young, the booziness is subtle for a nearly 13 ABV under the wall of malts and maple. Overly sweet.

There is a artificial flavor that I don't like, vanilla or caramel.

Overly sweet without the (much needed) heft of their better offerings (Curmudgeon’s Better Half is the gold standard). Appreciate the craft and love the brewery.

Tastes like a boozy Belgian dubble. Not a fan. Missed as bad as that Michigan tackle on that TCU 76 yard screen pass.
