Super sweet - more like a dessert beer. Not bad drinking but very different from most other beers

Dang this aged well!! Smells of molasses and southern sweet tea. A bit of bourbon barrel up front then sweet caramel and brown sugar with a hint of bitter finish

Very delicious. I can taste the maple syrup. Very smooth and thick. A fav.

Today I celebrate 2 years with my beautiful, brewer wife. A rough time with the pandemic, but we're going strong and looking forward to many more. I can think of no more appropriate beer on this day; love you babe!

Made maple bacon and pancakes for dinner. It was a fitting beer.

Un petit délice qui a bien vieilli, ça a même chassé l'alcool ! C'est bluffant comme tout se mélange bien : mélasse, sirop d'érable, chêne, Bourbon. Riche, réconfortante, sweet, manque plus que les pancakes et le bacon 🥓 On est rarement déçu par Founders

2 plus years of age and a bigger barrel, great molasses although not as sweet as original. Really held up well, think I’ll age the next one another 2 years.,

Delicious deep notes of molasses and maple syrup, with a nice oak finish from the barrel.

Found a 2018 bottle at Total Wine. Starts with the maple and finishes with the bourbon. DDelicious. Don't drink in an empty stomach. Three years of aging worked in this beers' favor and it is strong. Maybe even stronger than Dogfish head 120 minute IPA.

Has aged nicely, still boozy but the old ale shining through with some sweetness/caramel. Not shabby.
