2nd to last bottle from 2011. Liquid chocolate at this point, some carboard, still some carb. Not a 5 anymore, but not going to downgrade it.

The OG bottled version 2011. 12 yrs in the cellar. Maple only on the nose, perhaps barely perceptible on the first sip. But still imparts some kind of sweetness rather than the bitter roast of KBS. Still good but must be well past prime. Bethany beach

Simply stunning! Awesome milk chocolate, coffee, maple notes, the barrel has settled down but it’s not lost after 11 years! Not as edgy, nicely rounded flavors all melding nicely. Wow……..

First time ticking the OG and its not great… combo of the beer being old and the scene having changed since 2011. Respect for being a game changer but ten years on, this isn’t a great beer.

Dan Wanee's share #16: Matt Narker puts down the three mystery bottles and asks us to guess. No one is even close. There is absolutely not a hint of maple or coffee in any of these. Licorice note shows in the 2011. The '17 &'18 are just kind of generic...

We determined it was a Batch 2, which would make it 2010, but this will have to do. Funny, the Mounty that had to be removed a couple years ago tore off of the label...pretty sure Founders had something to do with that. Not much oxy, and still some maple!
