First imperial/double brown ale...very stout-like

Simply the biggest bang for the buck there is in coffee infused BA ales. It’s insanely good, aged for a year in underground caves, and replete with complex coffee and bourbon-barrel flavors. Seek & Destroy.

Not my favorite of their barrel series, but still pretty darn good. Warm goin down. Nice winter beer. I'd like to see the caves these are aged in.

Very bold, strong coffee, chocolate flavor and thick. Something I would drink next to a fire or for dessert.

As a lover of brown ales and bourbon barrel aging, I was excited for this one and it does not disappoint. Nutty with notes of chocolate and caramel

Amazing stuff, Sumatra is one of my favorite coffees, marry that with aging in oak & this stuff is the bomb. Coffee on the nose & on the tongue. Super smooth silky follow through & finish. I am in love. No give away that it's almost 12% ABV.

Underground Mountain Brown is a brown ale, not a porter or a stout. It’s got a roasty malty taste, but also there are Sumatra coffee beans in the mix and then it’s aged in bourbon barrels! And yeah, the abv is 11.9%. Interesting taste combo. 🍺

Earthy, difficult to describe aroma with maybe (?) subtle black coffee in the background. The bourbon barrel jumps right out in the first sip and walks point the whole time. The brewer’s description pretty much nails it.
