Holy moly Light body with full flavor of caramel, biscuit, well brewed coffee and earthy barrel character. Didn't feel alcoholic flavor and found out it was 11.9% ABV

Imperial brown ale är något av en underdog i ölvärlden. Minns när jag drack Nøgne Øs runt 07 och blev helt hänförd. Denna bjuder på karamell, brunmalt och jordig humle en masse med en fin mjuk bourbonarom. Enkelhet, balans och finess. Grymt bra helgslut!

January 2021. Rich with a slightly boozy profile; not overpowering despite the high alcohol content. Distinct chocolatey coffee, or coffee grounds, flavour. An enjoyable sipper.

Lovely Brown Ale with a nice roasted and caramelly coffee base. The finish resembles very dark chocolate and it also has that lovely barrel aged peatiness.

(Stef) Speciaal. Stevige kerel, redelijk romig. Koffiebitter maar niet overdreven. Van ver iets zoet karamel? Om rustig te degusteren.
