Underground Mountain Brown

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

Strong coffee flavor when you take your initial drink but then winds down with a velvety chocolate and hazlenut finish. The bourbon flavor is subtle but is there. I do wish it was a little more present. I drank it at room temp and it was so smooth and ric

Pleasantly complex imperial version of my least favourite beer style: brown ale. This one is full of coffee, oak and bourbon notes. Thin and almost watery moment after the initial notes, then the alcohol punches you. Some bitterness is there too. Great!

Coffee and chocolate. Boozy on the back end. Best served at room temperature. Pretty good.

Buena birra invernal.

Bottle 35,5 cl, poured into a trappist glass. Pours a very dark, opaquish brown with a small tannish head and an aroma of bourbon, wood, vanilla, espresso, booze, roasted malts, toffee, sugar, syrup and cocoa powder. The taste is medium sweet with a full

"The barrel, the bean and everything in between" Zowel koffie- als cacaoboon passeren de revue.
