Dark and opaque with a thin head reminiscent of espresso crema. Chocolate and coffee aromas layer nicely with woody bourbon barrels. Flavours of even more chocolate and coffee with the bourbon and booziness becoming domininant throughout the finish.

KBS will forever be one of the best, most balanced, most well crafted stouts thatβs ever been made. The 2019 is just another vintage that proves that.

I FINALLY found 2020 KBS today. I really hope itβs not a disaster like the year 2020; I doubt it. Within the next few months, I hope to do

Seems slightly more bitter after a year. Stronger coffee/roasted taste. Less bourbon.

A friend shared this with me last night. Still a bit hot, but smoothing out well. Maybe I think it's still hot because I had the 2018 first.
