Really well balanced, glad I've kept it around. All of the elements tie together, nothing dominates, fantastic beer with what seems to be the right amount of age

Heavy on the bourbon in years brew. Seems the longer it ages the less the bourbon comes through.

Aging very well. Bourbon is prevalent, coffee is still upfront as well. Chocolate is taking a back seat.

It’s hard to get better than this dark doomy KBS. Deep, dark, & delicious with smooth chocolate notes throughout. Well placed bourbon notes with subtle coffee. We still have KBS 2016, 2017, & 2018 in reserve. Could wait to level them all in one night.

Mouthgasm. Ridiculous sugary malt bomb. 12.7% ... where. Massive chocolate. Stops short of cloying. There's no burn. It's all pastry goodness. One of the best impy stouts, hands down. Grovel peon.

Opened it half an hour ago, still going. Still quite possibly one of the best beers you get can. So strong chocolate, bourbon and vanilia. Ruddy great.
