I can honestly say it’s been about 8 years since I last visited Brawley’s. While things have changed, it’s good to see that great beers are still available. Wonderful KBS.

 Don’t taste the bourbon. Very traditional standard style stout. Coffee taste comes through. Not a “desert” stout so its not sweet. The head is Amazing!

After 4vyrs the BA is almost gone and the roastiness of the coffee takes over!

It's a bit sweeter than the 2018 version. Otherwise it still has the intense coffee and chocolate notes with a hint of vanilla.

Heavy on the booze. A little too bitter. Less coffee and vanilla than expected. Rich and velvety.

В очередной раз убеждаюсь, что эйджинг ему на пользу. Бурбоновая сладость ушла, поднаторел. Горелый лук и старая дедова табакерка, Прима, если хотите. Сухо, травянисто, породистый алкоголь. Очень.

4 years old and still bang on the mark. Chocolate, vanilla, cold pressed coffee, slight bourbon spice. Verrrry smooth, possibly due to age? Quite simply outstanding.

4 years of age. Rounded off all the edges. I do still prefer an excellent batch of BCBS.
