Muito amadeirado, tanto aroma quanto sabor. Bourbon e baunilha em primeiro plano. Frutas secas, coco, baunilha novamente. 5 anos depois, a oxidação não prejudicou. Ainda bem!

Cellared 5 years and 1 month. Almost don’t even care how it tastes after this perfect pour. Oh how I miss what Founders was… post pour edit: it’s fine. Great for how old of an ale this is. Definitely should have cleaned out the fridge sooner.

Not a lot of distinctive flavor at this point. Probably a better 🍺 fresh.

Aged 5 yrs.. this is starting to get a bit oxidized and flat flavored.

LCI from Nov '22. Pre Founders controversy purchase. Infected, significantly sour, unpleasant and undrinkable.

Good but has lost quite a bit. Dropped to 4 from 4.5. Prolly a bit below 4

Side by side: 2018 - 2022 This 2018 version is still delicious. More thick, more sweet, bourbon still present. You taste the ageing process, it's a bit dusty. Still some left, but might be reaching it's turning point. Aged gracefully

This is the bourbon barrel version bottled in 2018. Don't hold this for 4 years. Little taste, no bourbon barrel character whatsoever. I'm pretty shocked it didnt age better. Ive liked this a year old or more in the past but this is like sugar water.
