Busted out an old friend for the new house. It’s mellowed substantially. Some oak remains, subtle whiskey but not much fire. Lots of creamy milk chocolate. Good.

Been hanging on to this one for a while. The lingering aftertaste is great. Chocolate. A little boozy up front, but not overwhelming.

At this point, bourbon nose, lush chocolate has turned to dry bakers chocolate; some coffee and barrel notes pop out

Okay, so 3 years is too long for a KBS. How do they bottle this stuff? Drink them fresh or don’t drink them at all.

Chocolate has faded. Mostly strong coffee, bourbon, and boozy. Still fairly smooth. Smells a bit like an ash tray so added tobacco to the profile. I don't think this has aged well. No rating. Might not finish it.
