Mere fad karakter, mindre bitterhed og meget mere chokolade. Chokoladen er sødere og minder mere om mælkechokolade end KBS (2021) og KBS (2016). Ufattelig lækker øl

Leaving the rating but I'd say not as good as I remember. Still good but pretty flat and a bit oxidized. I have 2 2017-2020 verticals to sample in sequence. Anyone game?

Bottled 3/7/2018, now aged about 4.5 years. Drinking pretty perfectly right now. Great balance of wood, chocolate, coffee, and bourbon. Long, slow, warming finish. Flavor is mellow with each note present but in harmony. No bite to the bourbon.

Aged for nearly years and this is just about perfect for a coffee stout

This has fallen off a bit. Kind of thin, still chocolate and coffee notes, boozy.

Nothing makes a rough day better than a KBS, especially one aged almost 5 years.

Used to chase this beer. Four years might be a little too long to sit on this one. Still good, but not great.

口元寂しく、Imperial Stoutを飲みたい気分だったので。久々のKBS。2018 release、といっても買ったのは２年くらい前だが。４年も経つと何かスタウトを飲んでいる気があまりしない。豆というか醤油のような味が出ている。攻撃的なハイアルの感じはだいぶ円やかになって来ているが、刺すような麦のウィスキーらしさはかえって健在なままだ。
