@FromTheCellar Dark heavy pour, tan foam. Aroma is coffee w/prominent bourbon aroma. Full mouthfeel of chocolate, cocoa and coffee. Lingering light bourbon finish. Cheers đŸ» @foundersbrewing #foundersbrewing #MIbeer #2018KBS @NENeerGuy #TheNEBG

The cellar just keeps on giving. And giving. And asks for nothing in return. But it does have a habit of just taking as well. 😉 3.875 now. 4.5 back in the day, fresh

I think it's the best year for KBS. Coffee held up, which is amazing. Beer and tunes, two great things that go great together!

TBTC to pre-covid times. This brew is still drinking pretty darn good, though some soy is starting to peek through. Best find the other 18s and send em home ;-)

Cellar cleaning. Somewhat thin and slightly astringent. Not bad, but not particularly great. Leaving old score.

Bottled on 3/7/2018, still good, a lot of coffee flavor, chocolate gone, a bit of bourbon.

Boozy with mild dryness. Sweetness has mostly disappeared. A bit oldish tasting, which is not surprise.

Port winey and bourboney (are those even words?). Chocolate and grapes. Lovely, bit velvety mouthfeel. Someting between 4.00-4.25.

Absolutely delightful chocolate-coffee-bourbon bomb! I'd guess the age has thinned the body somewhat and brought some vinous, portish aspects into play, some dried fruit, some tobacco perhaps. Becomes noticeably boozy after a while. 4.3
