A-dark with a tan head S-Molasses and coffee T-molasses and a old coffee bitterness. Low heat from the alcohol O-this has aged well

Chocolate, roasted malts, booze on the nose. Thick, malty, sweet, notes of bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Has a dry, bitter as boozy finish. Notes of dark chocolate and bitter coffee.

Still pretty great. Chocolate with roasty coffee notes. Silky feel and still has booziness.

A little thinner and less barrel than I remembered. I guess it's probably the ascendancy of these huge adjunct stouts over the last few years. Still a good beer, though.

Choklad, kaffe, bourbon fat i doften och smaken. Söt och fyllig utan att slå över. Bättre än 2016 & 2020.

Less enjoyable than the 2017 bottle last night. Roasty hoppy and coffee forward. Not as smooth and rich as 17.

Tons of coffee followed by leather and tobacco. Still a decent beer but the flavors that I do not like never went away.

Bobby box. Same rating from last checkin 12/2019. Much more mellow though. Different vibe.

So mellow and drinkable. Slightly bitter dark chocolate and espresso flavor on this one.

I’m not sure I was supposed to drink this. It was in the beer fridge and might have been given to my son for his 21st birthday. Oh well, he should have taken it with him when he returned to school. It’s pretty awesome! Nice chocolate and coffee notes.

From the vault, aged about 3 years. Sweet, chocolaty, and wicked smokey following a huge nose. A Founders staple that gets better with age. No clue where we got it, but I’m glad it’s here.

Thickened up on the front end, alcohol is a lot more present, less milky sweetness but still super well put together. Bourbon-y and rich chocolate
