Found this in Gainesville, FL in March of 2018. Like the Holy Grail then, not widely distributed in Florida at that time. Bottled 2/15/18. Roasty coffee, slight barrel.🍻

Didn’t age well at all. Not very dark or roasty. Bad butter aftertaste. Not like a good thick BBA stout. Easy drinking but that’s not what you want lol.

Ruikt naar bourbon vaten. Bourbon, licht koffie, zacht van smaak, volle smaak, licht chocolade. De koffie en chocolade zijn minder prominent aanwezig dan in jongere versies. Lekker genieten.

2018, 4th check in. Last time was 2 years ago. Still have a bunch more - figured I’d crack one. It’s fine. Metallic nose, muted flavors. Coffee & choco have faded, thinnish with some barrel

Tapped into the stash tonight, it’s fallen off. Still good but the notes are all muted

Disappointed, the 2017 was so good this year, but this one is a little thin and bitter. Still better than your average stout

Drinking a bomber from 2018. Chocolate nose- very dark and thick. Mouthfeel is thin - boozyness muted and much more roasty. Almost no sweetness.

Er is na 5 jaar en 12 dagen op fles niet heel veel meer over van de kracht van de KBS. Relatief veel houtsmaak met nog ergens wat geroosterde koffie en een vleug chocola.

Vegetal green paprika coffee notes, not just subtly noticeable wet cardboard, dry, umami.
