Espresso is absolutely at the forefront here but with balance from notes of chocolate and barrel this baby is as smooth as silk. Watch the abv it is well disguised in this luscious stout.

It is espresso as a caffè viennese could be. It remembers me more a coffee flavour in a tiramisù than in a cup. Bourbon barrel was very well used, smooth pleasant decadent dessert brew. It means this brew alone could be a dessert treat

Geur: koffie, vanille, bourbon, alcohol, moutig, karamel, zoet. Smaak: boozy, bourbon, koffie, donker brood, chocolade, zoet en heel ver bessig/rood fruit. Zacht, beetje stroperig/plakkerig. In finish koffie en een chocoladebitter.

Good blend of flavor notes with the coffee and chocolate taking a slight backseat to the BA. Its smooth and almost a little flat due to the "espresso" Not a big fan. Its a heavy hitter though.

Kaffe, vanilje, røstet malt og mørk sjokolade. Preg av bourbon fra fatlagringen. Fyldig og velbalansert. Flott øl.

Great variant. The espresso only adds to the rich coffee flavor. One of my favorite beers from 2019 and this years only solidify’s that. Glad they brought this back for 2020! ☕️ 🍫
