Roasty espresso, smooth chocolate and oaky bourbon. Bitter, lasting finish. Very intensive flavors, no sweetness, light mouthfeel. 42/50

Superb BBA stout. Some hay shack vibes on the nose. A little sharper than the regular KBS. More prominent and bitter coffee punch to it. I like the regular better as it’s smoother and balanced

G: veel espresso, choco, moutig, wat zoetig. S: dik, zoet, dikke koffie, alc., bitter, stroop. F: zoet, moutig, bitter, kandij, veel koffie.

Hate to say it but this one is a huge disappointment. The nose is so acidic the coffee is an afterthought. The alcohol content is really aggressive also. I let it sit for awhile to try it at different temps but ultimately poured the last bit of it out.

Quality stuff, but not exactly my kinda Stout. Espresso makes it a bit more bitter. Though now I’m wide awake, at last🦉

This makes me chuckle, since this was made in 2019. But, why not. Still tasty w/lots of coffee, smooth barrel.

Roasted coffee, chocolate, and boozy cherry. The bourbon is a little less pronounced and mostly on the finish. Original KBS might be better.

Boozy espresso stout. Thick oily pour with roasted coffee and bourbon barrel on palate.Aftertaste is as bitter as biting on a coffee bean.

Betydligt bättre nu, mindre ”burkärta” och mer kaffesmak, känner även av bourbonen i avslutet, härligt mjuk och balanserad i beskan/sötman. Mums
