Roasty coffee and dark chocolate notes dominate. Vanilla and oak notes round out the end. A little boozy but definitely much smoother fresh than the base recipe.

I like this espresso variant better than the original KBS now. I love how strong the coffee flavor is, I just wish the bourbon was bumped up a little more.

Excellent. Dark as a black hole, and I’ve been sucked in. I think Heirloom aged this for me for a few months ;-)

Nice strong flavor. Flavor of oak bourbon barrels and espresso taste is nice. Like it!!

Pretty much the best beer around right now. Perfect mix of coffee, booze and chocolate. Yumtastic.

Before this beer, I really thought there were no strong beers, only weak men, but even I think this beer is a little too much.
