If one Imperial Stout is good, two must be better (then we gotta go). This one is just as good as the Surly, only coffee is the dominant flavor. Same 12.0% ABV (that’s why I have to go after this one).

Usually not a fan of bourbon beers but this was good. Nice balance of espresso (not just coffee but espresso strength) and bourbon barrel.

Olor a Bourbon y chocolate. Densa y espumosa. Ligeramente alcohólica en boca, deja notas claras de chocolate, café y Bourbon. Excelente, para beber despacio con un buen chocolate negro.

Strong boozy barrel notes, there’s coffee in there but honestly it edged toward the whiskey more than anything.

My 500th unique stout, and a damn good one. Strong coffee mixed with cocoa and a relatively light bourbon barrel aging to provide alcohol delights. Give credit to Founders, a brilliant maker of stouts.

Really nice once it warms up a bit. Coffee dominates, but there’s cacao, vanilla, and a touch of caramel in the profile. Alcohol is only barely disguised… a bit boozy. Delicious!
