Side by side taste test on 2019 & 2020 2019 is smoother & 2020 is boozier.

Coffee heavy on nose. Some abv kick. Bourbon style sweetness. Very nice. Young malts.

I’ve learned to warm this one up quite a bit to let the flavors be more expressive. Tons of chocolate and coffee on nose and much more bourbon warming/ flavor. Body definitely thinner than desired. Palate sadly enjoys this less this year, still delicious.

I can honestly say that I can taste everything that is listed. Along with the 12% alcohol, this is a fantastic stout. Well done Foundersđź‘Źđź‘Ź

The Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout is one of my favourite beers of all time, and it’s well and truly MURICAN. Why do I say that? Well, it’s bold, it’s Y U U U U G E, and it’s pretty over the top. Boozy roasted coffee & smooth chocolate? Sold!
