The bourbon notes come through hard and immediately! The charred oak comes through very quickly also. It has a much lighter body than I expected, or prefer. Good overall, but didn't expect such hard bourbon coming in.

Gedroogde rode vruchten, chocola, ahornsiroop, bourbon en een smaak die lang blijft hangen. Goed plakkerig ook. Zoet maar niet te.

I’ve learned to warm this one up quite a bit to let the flavors be more expressive. Tons of chocolate and coffee on nose and much more bourbon warming/ flavor. Body definitely thinner than desired. Palate sadly enjoys this less this year, still delicious.

I can honestly say that I can taste everything that is listed. Along with the 12% alcohol, this is a fantastic stout. Well done Founders👏👏

Rich, full, with a long chocolaty finish. Just a hint of alcohol burn. Served it too cold; will give it some time. Pretty incredible.
