Good, but not as good as previous years. We’ll let the other bottle I have sit in the cellar and see if it’s better in a year or two.

Alcohol burn was terrible but otherwise very flavorful. Going to leave the other three and rate again in 4-6months.

Lots of coffee in this year's brew. Nice bourbon also and vanilla but it's all about the coffee.

Close second on my favorite BA stouts (BCBS is first). The chocolate comes out more as this warms and balances the bourbon.

Such a severely overrated beer. This shouldn’t even be a 4.00 average. It’s past notoriety is the only reason this has such a high average rating. Bitter. No barrel flavor whatsoever.

Strong coffee that fades into a boozy chocolatey-ness. Bitter coffee circles back around and gets a shot in at the end...

Trying this alongside a 2015 KBS. More barrel on the 2020 with coffee notes coming through nicely.

Definitely subsided a bit, but the nose is super coffee-forward, while the palate is layers of bitterness from the bean and the cacao.
