Deep underground were the brewer trolls found. Stirring and conjuring up the lost souls from town. “Nothing finer than a Thursday evening bourbon barrel brown” was engraved on the king trolls crown. Try this and see!

Chocolate on the nose, milk chocolate on the tongue. The bourbon barrel aging complements the chocolate and coffee flavors. Not too sweet. Just right!

It’s been a good run. Dreary days ahead. Decision time. It’s been a rough one for small businesses. The light never seems to get bigger at the end of the tunnel. If it’s not 5 things, it’s another 3. The beer is great tho. Maybe the best year for it.

Woo dog! This tastes amazing! High test for sure with great flavors of coffee and bourbon. Can only have one at a time. Take your time and savior this bad boy.

As expected the coffee notes are forefront, but the rich chocolate and Bourbon ones take this to the next level.

I’m a big fan of the Founder’s Barrel Series, and this edition doesn’t disappoint. If every bourbon barrel selection tasted like this one, there’d be no need for heaven, we would already be there.

This is a fantastic brown ale. I am kind of partial to brown ales.... like a little coffee in my beer... like high ABV... and like barrel aging.... This is really one of my beers 😁😁😁. Just as good as last year's. Great Job Founders.

Underground mountain brown is one of my favorite beers and I am glad it seems to have become a consistent seasonal for founders

We are doing a side by side of 2020 and 2019. Both are different. The 19 has a smoother less boozy kick where as the 20 doesn’t

Same as it ever was. I miss the days when Founders barrel aged series was new beers multiple times a year and not repeat after repeat.

So happy to find some of this in CA. Nose is coffee, sweet malts, vanilla and bourbon. Palate is sweet, roasty, boozy and delicious. This is a keeper, almost on par with CBS.

Well that'll wake you up!! Good lord - straight coffee bomb to the dome. Then good bourbon flavor on the finish. Very smooth for pushing 12%.
