Outstanding. Smooth without being too sweet. Rich chocolate coffee taste. Nice finish. The barrel finish softens the beer.

2020 bottle. Some of the barrel has fallen off which just made more room for the insane amount of chocolate fudge. Decadent.

So I enjoyed this, a lot. But if I go for price per bottle it gets a bit of a knock. I will enjoy the remaining three, too.

v2020. Booze became the primary flavor over time, chocolate faded out. Chocolate turned almost a “bittersweet” flavor. Maple is still barely noticeable. Still, not awful.

HEAVENLY Sweet milk CHOC>smooth roasty >maple>boozy aroma. Thick&crisp. Sweet(2), roasty(2), coffee(2 but sooo smooth no burnt at all), milk choc(2), dark choc(2), boozy(1), bitter(1). PERFECTION! balanced&so much depth. SMOOTH. Lingering dark choc end$15

Changing this to 5. It's consistently the one I pull out of the fridge and is very sippable. Can nurse this everyday. Delicious.
