Finally having this. I liked the espresso version a tiny bit better but it’s still super flavorful. Smells sweeter than it tastes

Begint met sterke tonen van koffie en pure chocolade maar naarmate het bier op temperatuur komt wordt de maple syrup duidelijk herkenbaar en zorgt voor een mooi gebalanceerd bier

Big chocolate nose and taste. Doesn't drink like 11%, very smooth. Excellent beer

First you taste the booziness and bourbon from the barrel. The finish is where you get the sweetness of the chocolate. And also what keeps you sipping. The bourbon taste is not overbearing, so it works well with the chocolate

Very nicely balanced. Sweet but not too sweet, doesn’t hurt your teeth. Rich and flavorful. Fudge and coffee. Don’t taste maple.

Expected a bit more. I don't get barrel, maple is muted, chocolate is very pronounced and it's good. Overall, it's good, not great.
