Really pastry heavy. Chocolate mocha fudge. That works well, but there’s a too heavy coffee presence. I actually get more coffee than the original somehow. I like the original better

A high scoring beer that just wasn't it for me. I'm not a fan of the stout, but the fudge could be a good balance. However, I missed the fudge and the coffee dominated. Maybe give this beer another chance at a different time, place and moment.

After a itching in the garage for a month or so, the chocolate came out to play. Need to get more and let it chill longer.

Lovely thick stout with loaded of fresh, mild coffee (FRESH POOOOOT), dark caramel fudge, semi-sweet maple and medium roasted and charred wood. Was hoping for a CBS, but still a solid flavoured stout. Better than old KBS

Veldig aroma av espesso og mørk kokesjokolade. Litt maple sødme som nuller ut kaffe bitterheten, mye smak av mokkabønner.

Founders kan greiene sine altså! Klassisk KBS-smak, komplettert med sjokolade og et deilig søtt lønnesirupdrag. Putt mokkabønner i en flaske CBS så begynner vi å nærme oss denne!

Mostly coffee in the nose, then coffee and fudge dominate the flavor. Hints of Bourbon appear in the finish. Sweet, but surprisingly not overwhelmingly so. When swirled over the tongue, I get some of the original KBS base. Pleasant KBS variant.

Strong coffee flavor, needs to age a couple years for it to be good.

Doftar kaffe, chokladfudge och ekfat. Smakar söt kaffe, så som kaffe doftar i en kaffebutik, vanilj från bourbonen, choklad och ett varmt lite spritigt avslut. Bra munkänsla, dock aningen tunnare än vanliga KBS och CBS.

Mmmmmmm... nam nam nam. Kaffe og sjokoladekake uten at det blir for klissete. Meget balansert stout.
