Allowed to warm: Great nose. Strong chocolate and coffee. Boozy finish. Maple overpowered and undiscovered.

Mother of God. This is ridiculous. Super thick and fudgy with a hint of maple sweetness. Not much barrel, bust shockingly no booziness either for not really having any age on it. I’ll be getting more.

This is awesome. Huge aroma, roasty, chocolate, sweet. Taste is very sweet up front, nice chocolate, very balanced.

Sweet, coffee nose. Rich, roasted malt. Chocolate, coffee flavor. Medium to full body. Boozy. Sweet maple notes. Great barrel aged stout

Like a beer and a mocha had a baby! Rich and delicious, dark chocolate and coffee all day with just a hint of booze in the background. Get some!

If this is to be the replacement for CBS, I can’t complain too much. This one’s a bit heavier on the chocolate flavor.

New favorite beer as 10/30 a hint of maple syrup and a nice chocolatly after taste, if they added a smidge of coffee flavor I may never drink another beer again.

Heavy coffee on the nose w a sweet finish. Torn on the rating - thin so going w a 3.75.

Grabbed a single for 7 bucks. Kinda glad I just got a single. BA has this as world class. I disagree. The nose is very inviting, but flavors just don’t get there for me. Their use of maple in CBS set the standard. This is above average, not spectacular.

Now you’ve gone and made KBS better. The chocolate in this is fantastic. The flavors are huge. This is what Founders has been doing as good as anyone the last 2-3 years.
