I don’t taste much maple but I sure taste the fudge and it's fantastic. This thing is so dark. Looks great in a glass. Strong chocolate flavor (Milton Hershey eat your heart out). Dessert in a glass!

Heavy chocolate nose before you even take a sip. Dark chocolate that mellows into a chocolaty treat with coffee ☕️ grinds in the finish. Dynamite.

Maple, Mackinac fudge, big barrel aged stout. If you like those things, then you want this beer.

Wow, this is outstanding! Chocolate flavor more pronounced than the subtle maple. Very nice balance. Smooth.

I could almost drink this as a dessert beer. The perfect stout with just enough bitterness to outshine the sweetness of the chocolate. The coffee flavor and maple comes through nicely.

A revisit since the '22 has appeared. This '20 version is so incredible. The fudge and lingering cocoa is just amazing. Coffee and bitter chocolate is at the top of my favorite flavors, and this is literally the ipotomy of what I want in a stout. High abv

So good. Not boozy at all. Great thickness. The chocolate aroma is 100% , the head poured full like cookie dough and stayed, and a very nice body color - so I'm giving it the full 5*

I have yet to meet a version of KBS I don’t like. I dare say this is my favorite yet. The description is accurate and yet does not do it justice. Ana amazing after meal stout to enjoy with your desert or alone. All the flavors flow through easily.
