Pretty rich on a big, chocolaty base. Hints of wood & maple & the roasted coffee/malt. Great beer.

Taste of fudge not chocolate is prevalent. The maple is faint with little to no boozy aftertaste. I wish this stout was a bit thicker As it would have changed the overall profile.

Very good.....no wow factor, but of course a solid Founder's stout. Think I would enjoy more without the maple. Thanks for the hook up, Michelle.

Booze. Barrel. Fudge. Coffee. With a tinge of maple all in balance... nothing overly done. Had at slightly above cellar temp. Got impatient.

Rich choc/fudge. Deep dark. Slight bitterness on finish... possibly from syrup. Will set a couple aside to compare in 21/22 maybe 23

Delicious chocolate flavor, hard to taste the maple which is better than overdoing the maple. Mouth feel is a little thin but man that fudge flavor rules.

Pretty solid barrel aged beer, not sure I noticed the maple fudge notes that much though - may have to revisit

Coffee bean nose. Disappointed with the palate. Coffee dominates, and crushes the chocolate and maple. Wish it were sweeter and more maple. Body is a little thin, and the bourbon is lacking. Disappointed, but at $5, still ok. 3.9.

Immense chocolate,not tasting much maple, maybe a hint in the finish as it warms. Bourbon warming enhancers the mocha dominance. After the last couple of released, this one rights the ship

4.1 a bit of chocolate , fudge and coffee, I donβt get maple but others get a hint. IMHO, KbS has declined... wait was there supposed to be bourbon In This? Lol

Love the addition of maple here and fudge coffee - makes for a nice twist on an already fun beverage. While it doesnβt have the mouthfeel I want, the flavors help compensate for everything missing. Enjoyable sipper for sure.

Rich & fudgy. Thin body. Strong dark roast, chocolate chunk with maple present & balanced throughout. Light bourbon with a bitter coffee finish.
