Founders BA beers are pretty much a sure hit with me. This one is no exception. The only thing for me is that maple is in the title but hard to find in the beer. Thus the 3.5 vs the 3.75 I would have given.

May not be the most complex but absolutely delicious. Rich, chocolaty, full mouthfeel. Surprisingly smooth and alcohol hidden for abv. Great flavor though chocolate does overpower the barrel at times it seems.

I knew it was going to be dark, but wow! It has sweet, chocolate, and coffee flavors. I don’t detect the maple but it’s probably also there. Cheers 🍺😋❄️🧋☕️

Dark chocolate with a nice bitterness. Maple and coffee come through with a hint of the barrel. Very smooth and not too boozy, maybe because this bottle is from 2022. Not too sweet 👍

Amazing fudge on the nose and it’s like drinking a piece of fudge. Not as sweet as a Burial stout, but really well balanced and good.
