2020 bottle. Some of the barrel has fallen off which just made more room for the insane amount of chocolate fudge. Decadent.

Outstanding. Smooth without being too sweet. Rich chocolate coffee taste. Nice finish. The barrel finish softens the beer.

Interesting to have this soon after the Veil stouts. This is actually light and fluffy. Nice coffee and chocolate w maybe a hint of the barrel. Goes down a little too easily.

My goodness! I’ve always enjoyed KBS, but this variant takes it to a whole new level! Loads of creamy fudge chocolate (you had me there) deliciously partnered with coffee & maple. Been looking for this one for awhile - thanks, Doc’s! PS-food’s to die for!

This one remains my favorite KBS. Last one in the cellar, sadly. Roasty, sweet, chocolate coffee goodness. Not thin, not thick, just right.

Wow, pure chocolate fudge on the nose. One of the best smelling beers I’ve ever had. This was really a hidden gem, especially after being a bit disappointed by my last CBS. The flavor on this is next level

Still my favorite variant…but, the fudge is fading and the coffee is tasting a wee green peppers…2years in the bottle - the time to drink is Now!

Kbs heeft me nog nooit teleurgesteld en dit is ook weer een pareltje. Veel minder zoet dan het onderschrif zou vermoeden. In plaats daarvan een lekkere zware bourbon ondertoon.

Maple. Fudge. Mackinac (Island). Founders. (Imperial) Stout. These are a few of my favorite things. I’ve had the draft version but first time bottled. This is one on my favorite beers on the planet. More drinkable for me than even CBS. What more to say???
