BD 26/10/20. Geur veel cacao/melkchoco, wat koffie, best wat vanille, caramel/fudge, wat maple syrup, iets bourbon, iets suikerig. Smaak sluit aan, halfzoet, iets barrel, iets boozy, veel droge cacao en wat bitterchoco in de afdronk. Fraai in balans.

Rare for me to say it, but might have been better with a lower ABV. I’ve been aging this one since 2020, but decided I needed to celebrate the new fridge being in place.

Altra variante della KBS. Questa è molto più morbida ed equilibrata rispetto all'altra, però è meno intrigante pur restando ottima

Probably a little *too* chocolatey for my own taste (and maple for that matter). Not my favorite KBS variant, but I can see its appeal.

Yowzah! This thing is rich. Lots of heavy, deep flavors going on - chocolate, coffee, maple, bourbon, etc. - and they all work really well together but, make no mistake, this sucker is one dense beer.
