Sweet malt, caramel, toffee, dried fruit flavours. A bit sickly sweet. I didn't particularly like this.

Rum and raisin on the nose, so rich, figs, toasted coconut vanilla and treacle toffee then dry, texture is rough dry dates, booze lingers

onight I'm gonna do a comparison between 2016 & 2017 Backwards Bastard! Next up: 🏁 THE WINNER, 2017! 🏁 Creamier, smoother than the 2016, light dark fruit, slightly bitter on the tongue, vanilla, some smoky barrel char is present, heavy oak notes!

Ça réchauffe méchamment, Bourbon à fond assez alcoleux, au final pas mon BA préféré sur le style. Une bonne winter ale comme on dit !

Self cellared yummy. It’s a little thinner, still a little edgy, but booze is toned down.

Quite thin body, loads of bourbon and whisky flavours. Quite nice!
